Brinli's,well MY, Election

Well, I decided to run for Vice President for her student council. These are some pictures for my campaign.

The jokester hat :)

My friend showed me a cool website that allowed me to do this to me and it is really cool!!!!!!!!

Of course this one went on my poster

The one to let people know who I am.

Well I was running against two of my best friends, a new girl, and one boy. They boy who is named Jack Yarosh ended up winning the election which I was not surprised about. It is good that he has good sportsman ship because if he wasn't that wouldn't be cool, obviously. :)
Well, we are trying to figure out how to post the video so I will keep you guys posted on that :)

OKAY $1.56 in postage DOESN'T mean ANYTHING!

Nate received his mission call on Thursday here in Michigan, it cost $1.56 to mail it here. He said we couldn't open it, he wanted to open it in Utah. Can you believe HE wanted to open it.
We tried just about everything to see where he might serve,
this doesn't really work!

The Letter!

This didn't work either.

Trav came out to visit and before he left Utah, where Nate is,
he told Nate he was going to open it.

Jae (Trav's wife) helped.
This was our Attempt at tricking Nate into thinking we opened his mission call without him.

I can't tell you the self control and patience I have had to practice for the last 3 days waiting. The anticipation has been excruciating.
Let me explain the significance of $1.56. Since I was being torchered by the wait, I had a friend that said, you can usually tell if they will be serving state side or foreign by the amount on the postage. HUM......It usually weights more if it's foreign, this makes sense to me. So I checked with a friend that just received his mission call to the Pocatello, Idaho mission and his mission postage was $1.56.
EXACTLY THE SAME AS NATE'S!!

So against my gut feeling of a foreign mission I guess it will be a state side mission, RIGHT?

TODAY, Sunday, we skyped with Nate and the rest of the family in Utah
while he opened his letter.

Is He Really Gone?

I am have been having mixed feeling lately. Sadness, happiness, humbleness, and the feeling like I hardly know my older brother, Nate

Now I am having all of those feelings together. Nate we are missing you while you are in Utah and we will miss you when you leave to serve the Lord for two years.

Once Upon our Summer, part 3, Girls camp!!!

Once Upon our Summer.........

we got home the day right before girls camp in enough time to pack and NOT watch the fireworks on the fourth of July! Go figure :)! The next morning after we got home from Utah we left for girls camp! Just a warning there are not going to be many pictures on this post and I will explain why. Brooke got sick on the second day and so my mom had to take her home and they never came back. I also got sick on the second day so I didn't get to take any pictures here are a few that I took anyway! I was sad that I didn't take any outside of my cabin. Our theme this year was "Oh the Places You'll Go" and my cabin theme was Green Eggs and Ham!!!!

My YCL Stephanie Burns is on the botton bunk there and here is one of my camp friends Tory Mattewson.

Here is Justice Sears, on the left, and Tory teaching her how to play the cup game.
One of my best friends from Midland was in my cabin and that was a BLAST!!! Her name is Anne Skaug.

This is a collage of girls camp pictures of Brooke from last year since we didn't have any of her this year.

We had the best food made and the best time EVER!!!!! We had a skit night which was a total blast and everybody loved testimony meeting. It was a good time to get to know the other girls and know how things were going for them. I cannot wait to go to Girls Camp next year!!! And I promise I will get more pictures :)

Once Upon our Summer, part 2, Wood Reunion

Once Upon our Summer.........

we went to the Wood family reunion (My mom's side of the family)!!!!! We had a wonderful time seeing long lost cousins at Bear Lake in Utah, again I love that place.

To make a long story short, this lake isn't as pretty as it looks! My uncle took us out on the speed boat and my; cousin and I went on a one person tube, really smart right, and my uncle tipped us with no mercy! I went back to where we were staying and my mom, LOVE HER, said that I was having mixed emotions at the time. If any if you have been to bear lake you would know how cold it is and so I was having a mix of being exposed to the sun, dehydration, and shock. Really fun experience! Well once recovered from that IT WAS A BLAST!!!!!!They had two really nice pools and a park behind the little condo we were in. It was so much fun.

This is a game that we all know! Yeah..... reeeally fun :P

Of course when we take the picture she is wanting somebody else :) This is my cute little cousin Ava who I saw for the first time and we just fell in love with each other.
Aaron would always stand up on the end of the slide so he could "scuba dive" in!!
Lounging in the pool
Happy, Happy

This was after the pool and believe it or not we were going super SUPER fast. (See me holding on for dear life in the right hand corner if you don't believe me :)

Brookes face says it all.

Good Aunts, Uncles, and cousins

We all enjoyed being here with the Wood family.

Once Upon our Summer, Part 1, UTAH with the Leonhardt side :)

Once Upon our Summer..................
it started out with packing and making sure that the house was PERFECT (or pretty close) before we left for Utah. Once we left we started realizing this was the last time we were going to be driving Nate out there! SCARY!!!!!!! It took us three long, painful days to get there although we got to stay in a hotel which was a blast for the other kids. Not saying it wasn't fun for me to! I loved carrying Levi around. And by the way ME is Brinli. :)

BUDDIES IN THE BACK SEAT!!!!

Notice a few things here, the youngest and oldest sons are missing (don't worry Levi hasn't left at this point) and Nate is some were!!!! P.S. Notice my mom near the back of the car!!!!! LOL
The mountains that we don't get in Michigan. :

We were all ssssooooo glad to finally come home to loving Grandparents and yummy cookies!:)

Later after reuniting with family (which we don't have pictures for sadly) and many hugs we had sleep overs with cousins and ate yummy food with our amazing family we haven't seen in forever. A few days later we went to a Bonn fire which was a blast except for when we had to go to the bathroom!! Here are just a few pictures of the little times when we were all together.

Well mostly all of us! Aaron's face looks a little funny! Don't worry we didn't

give him plastic surgery

Girly Girls in a row,

Singing around the campfire with amazing cousins and food! Can it get any better??
The next day my Aunt Amie and Uncle Ryan's house I got to spend sometime with some of my cousins that are so awesome! Can you guess what we did? We put on my Aunt Amie's old pageant dresses and took many pictures! Here is literally the only one that I was available to.

In order: ME, SAVANNAH, AND ALLI! We all had such a good time although the dress that I was wearing was a little to big! :) If I find anymore of these pictures, I will make sure to post them.

Next, we went to see my Aunt and Uncle who live in Idaho. There we went up to there cabin and were joined there by my other extended family the Tippet's. The cabin could pass as a mansion!!! IT WAS HUGE! NO JOKE!!!! Here are some pictures.

We are just hanging out, look at my little baby cousin Gracy! She is ssooo cute and she is faster than the Flash! :)

Picture from the upstairs level which was, like, 500 feet high!! Well it seemed like it

It was Brooke's 15th birthday so we celebrated it there, here she is staring at the very yummy fruit pizza made for her! YUMMMM

Drumroll Please............
Just a girl and her money :p

She loved her money more than all of the really cute clothes she got!
She was a born model :)
The cute skirt that we both love.
We had a great time spending time with the Leonhardt's side of the family and we cannot wait to see all of you again. :)
